Eleven years ago, through the craziest of circumstances, I met Brandon.

He says it was love at first sight, but I beg to differ.

Despite living three hours away from one another we quickly started a relationship. A bond sparked that surprised even our closest friends. After a year of long-distance dating, I decided I loved him so much I'd move to his city and we'd make it our home.

Throughout eight {almost nine} years of marriage, we've survived a lotWe've celebrated good times and fought for faith during tough times, but in the end we've seen it though together. I like to think we are stronger for our past, which makes me hopeful for the future.

In August 2010 we were surprised to find out our family of four {if you count the fur-babies} would become a family of five. So, even though they said it'd be a long fight to have kids, God blessed us with a baby boy, March 23, 2011

I've quickly learned the old saying "they grow up too fast" is all too true. {see how he's grown HERE}

Eleven years, five moves, four cars, two degrees and one baby later we find ourselves here, in South Carolina. We've planted roots in my hometown and those roots are starting to take bloom as we move into a new season of our family's story.

As our story continues, you'll find the details laid out here.
