Confession: I do this blog anonymously {for the most part}.
Why the anonymity?
This is why...
These horrendous not-so-cute outfits were my inspiration for Confessions of a Magnolia Mom. My mother-in-law brought me these little gems on her first trip to meet Baby J. I wanted more than anything to run to my blog and tell the world about some of the fugly outfits she brought and she loved (and y'all the outfits pictured were the best of the 1983 bunch of clothes). Obviously, I couldn't do this because her feelings would be crushed as she is an avid reader of my personal blog.
So, this blog was created.
Unedited opinions, thoughts, rants and raves. Love it or hate it, it's what I'm really thinking. Everyone needs somewhere to vent, right?
I'm sharing this now because I feel some posts I want to do here should be shared on my other blog as well. So if you happen to run across another blog and think "man, I have seen this post somewhere" or "I've seen that sweet baby's smile somewhere," well, you probably did.
Sound good? Good.
On a related note...
I'm a worrier. And for some reason I became worried about overexposing sweet Baby J, thus the reason I haven't shared any pictures of him on here. I've now decided to take the leap and share photos of my little man on here. I want you all to know all about me and I think sharing his sweet face would help.
What I love about the blogging world is its ability to be a huge support system. I have no friends with children or any planning to have any in the near future. So, from all of you I learn, I laugh, I even cry reading your stories.
It. Is. Wonderful.
My hope is that I can do the same for all of you out there. And even if I don't, at least I'm helping myself to a little bit of sanity.
I'll leave you with this, a photo of my precious Baby J.
