The Skinny on Becoming Skinny

**Update: I've got good news and bad news...The bad news is I didn't lose any weight during week two, the good news is I didn't gain any either. So far, week three has been filled with much healthier choices than week two.**

Tomorrow ends my second week of Weight Watchers, and I'm nervous to get on the scale.

Here's where I find myself:

My first we was seriously successful. More so than I ever thought it could be. You see, due to my PCOS and lack of metabolism, it's extremely hard for me to lose weight. The first week was amazing motivation. When I nervously stepped onto the scale to see that I had lost 5.2 pounds!!! WOO HOO!

Throughout the week I made "smart" food choices. I went for fruits and greens when it came to snack time. That's not to say I didn't indulge once or twice. At the end of the week I even felt better. What did I do to celebrate losing those 5.2 pounds you ask? I headed straight for Chik-fil-A.

Don't get yourself all in a tizzy. I didn't go binge on waffle fries and chicken sandwiches. I simply went to the drive-through (so as not to smell the deliciousness cooking inside) and purchased a diet coke. I know Weight Watchers doesn't ban sodas, but it is a personal goal for me to stop drinking coke. So it was a nice little treat.

The second week, unfortunately, hasn't gone as well. Vacation/holiday weekend didn't help. I must admit I didn't have time for a grocery run when we got back in town from our impromptu trip to the mountains {more on that later}. No grocery run always puts a cramp in my healthy eating habits.

Only the scale can tell me how I really did. But even if it says I've lost weight, I won't call this second week a success because I don't feel healthier.

So, here's to week three and continuing to reach for my healthy lifestyle. All of it comes back to this handsome man, it's all about him and enjoying every second of every day I have with his smiling face.

Linking up with a new hop today and I've already found some new lovelies to follow!
