My First Pinteresting Recipe

"Daaayumm"

That was Hubby B's response to my new pinspired recipe.

Yep, you heard right, I finally made one of the recipes I've pinned!

I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty proud of myself. I've been on the Pinterest bandwagon for some time now. In fact, I'm pretty sure I was pinning before you could even jump on the bandwagon.

Anyway...Our household is in need of a kitchen menu overhaul. Unfortunately, this working-mom gig has cut my cooking time in half. Which means my recipe concoctions have come to a dead halt.

So?

I decided to start with this...

Slow Cooker French Dip Sandwiches
*recipe adapted by Jane Deere*
I always rate a meal on Hubby B's reaction. And this meal? Well, it's been categorized under the "Damn" category. Yep, it was that good. The best part, however is not pictured above.

The au jus was out of this world. Om nom nom.

Whatever you do, do not forget to use it for dipping!!

This was a super simple, super scrumptious meal which I highly recommend for those busy weekday dinners.

  3. Yum! I have yet to try to make a food that I've pinned. I really wanted to make pumpkin white hot chocolate tonight, but, alas, not white chocolate in the house. Happy Pinning!

  4. I freaking love sandwiches, especially if they make you say daaayumm afterwards.
