Invitations: A Celebration is in Order

For those of you new around here, or anyone who needs a reminder, I announced our theme a few weeks ago...It's Pixar's movie Up!

J's birthday is quickly approaching. 16 days to be exact. AH! My to-do list is getting organized and I'm officially swimming in party details.

After much thought and lots of work, we finally managed to get the party invitations out this week.

A Twitter poll, decidedly voted that birthday invitations should be sent out 3-4 weeks in advance. Unfortunately, that just didn't happen. Somehow life managed to speed up even more than usual the last couple weeks. This has left me a tid bit frantic, but they're out and that's what matters.

We had a great debate over paper products for the party. In the end, we opted not to pay an Etsy creator ridiculous amounts of money to make our stuff. Rather, B sweated away many hours in photoshop to create the invitations and other printables.

Let me tell you what, that man has been hiding some Photoshop talent! With his help and some wording assistance from the Gadabout we were able to create everything on our own.

For now, I'm just sharing the invitations, more fun items to come later!

So out they've gone and I can at least cross one thing off the Party To-Do List!

sidenote: we're not just giving guests the hand at the bottom of the invite, that's just my clever way to keep contact info personal :)
