Show & Tell: Baby Edition

Baby fever hit me a little after Jackson's first birthday. And with squishy babies being welcomed left and right I don't foresee that changing any time soon. Despite my current case of baby fever, our Baby #2 is still feasibly a couple years off.

So, for now, I plan and dream.

1. Tell us your favorite baby names?
For me, Jackson was the one and only boy name I ever considered for my son.

So if we have a boy, I'm at a complete loss. Girl names on the other hand, I have plenty of!
Examples: Kennedy, Harper, Lynlee, Lucy, Samantha.

Although, if Baby #2 is a girl, we've already chosen her name. That'll be saved for a potential future announcement :)

2. Show me your "dream" nursery:
You can see Jackson's first nursery here
And? Confession? I still haven't posted photos of his current nursery! Oops.

For Baby #2 though, I have a few things in mind.

See, I told loss if it's a boy!

3. How many children would you like to have? How far apart?
I think two children.
Ideally, they'd be no more than three years apart.
Right now, though, I'm just trying to be patient, content and trust in His plan.

4. Tell us what you think the importance of parenting is?
There are so many important things we do and decide each day as a parent. What's truly important about parenting is what changes in you as a person through parenthood. It's just an incredible transformation.

5. Show us your favorite newborn photo.

Jackson, at 10 days new.

6.  Tell us some things you promise to never do as a parent {and if you are a parent, did you stick to it}.
I promised never to let my child throw a screaming tantrum in public.
So far, we've not allowed this. Even if it meant one of us leaving a meal to go outside to walk around. I just prefer it this way, as a courtesy to others. Only time will tell how long this will last.
